Patil Courier & Logistics, established in 2025, operates in Thane, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai, providing local, Pan India, and international courier services. These Terms govern all shipments handled by our company.
- Acceptance of Terms
By booking a shipment, scheduling a pickup, or using our services, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all individuals, businesses, and corporate clients.
- Shipment Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse shipment of any item that:
- Is prohibited by Indian or international law
- Contains hazardous, explosive, flammable, or illegal materials
- Is improperly packed
- Has incomplete documentation
- Is restricted for air transport or customs clearance
Customers must ensure that all goods are properly packed and labeled before dispatch.
- Prohibited & Restricted Items
The following items are strictly prohibited unless permitted by law and declared in advance:
- Narcotics and illegal substances
- Firearms and ammunition
- Explosives and hazardous chemicals
- Perishable goods (unless agreed in writing)
- Currency and high-value negotiable instruments
- Precious metals and stones (unless declared and insured)
International shipments must comply with customs regulations of the destination country.
- Customer Responsibilities
The customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate sender and receiver details
- Declare the correct value of goods
- Ensure proper packaging
- Provide complete documentation for international shipments
- Pay applicable courier charges, taxes, and duties
Any loss or delay caused due to incorrect information will not be the responsibility of Patil Courier & Logistics.
- Delivery Time
Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing. We are not liable for delays caused by:
- Weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Customs clearance delays
- Transportation disruptions
- Limitation of Liability
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to:
- The declared value of the shipment, or
- A maximum compensation amount as per company policy, whichever is lower
We are not responsible for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Delays beyond our control
Insurance coverage is recommended for high-value shipments.
- International Shipments
For international courier services:
- The customer is responsible for customs duties, taxes, and clearance charges.
- Customs inspections may cause delays beyond our control.
- Incorrect or incomplete documentation may result in shipment return or confiscation.
- Payment Terms
- Payment must be made at the time of booking unless credit terms are agreed in writing.
- Corporate clients with credit accounts must clear invoices within agreed timelines.
- Late payments may attract additional charges.
- Undelivered Shipments
Shipments may be returned to the sender if:
- The receiver is unavailable
- Address is incorrect
- Delivery is refused
Return charges will be applicable.
- Claims & Disputes
Any claim for loss or damage must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery date. Claims submitted after this period may not be entertained.
- Privacy Policy
Customer information is kept confidential and used only for shipment processing and communication purposes. We do not sell or share personal data with unauthorized third parties.
- Amendments
Patil Courier & Logistics reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be published on our website.
- Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Thane, Maharashtra.
